Bug Spray Card

Never go camping without bug spray!

Just this summer, we took a family camping trip. I bought so many camping-related supplies that I will need to spend next summer camping every weekend in order to use it all. But this week, there were a few challenges that helped me work through my stash.

The Male Room challenge (#5) this week was to be inspired by an animal, avian, or aquarian.
Rhedd & Rosie's Challenge Blog (#16) was "something for men."

So I used those two challenges and dipped into my camping stash.

I love this camping patterned paper by Imaginisce. Because of the bold words and figures, I was able to focus on my "animal." The best place to go for that was my Cricut Campin' Critters cartridge. There were so many camping animals to choose from, but I loved this frog with bug spray. Never go camping without bug spray!

I cut the base of the frog on glitter cardstock in a light green. I thought the spray would look fun in glitter. The dark green is chalked and glitter is placed on the frog's eyes. The fly in the spray cloud is white and brown with glitter sprinkled on top.

If you've been following my blog, you'll know that I have been obsessed with glitter lately.
Hop-fully, I have it out of my system now.
