Have a Souper Day!

Hello Crafters!
Faith here from ScrapbookerPhD with some more inspiration for our Challenge #14. Get the details Here.

The challenge is to use THREE die cuts and add some sparkle.

This card started with the chef frame. I absolutely fell in love with this, and I wanted it to be black and white. It is a new cut file from Designs on Cloud 9. For the next two die cuts, I use vegetables from the Cricut cartridge, Garden Soup. I have had this cartridge for years and just never use it.

To add some sparkle and shine, I added glitter to the stems of the vegetables, black appliqué to the chef hat, and DoubleClick Skittles on the sentiment stamp by Cardz TV set Food Punnies.

  5. Hi Faith! Thanks for the nice comment on my blog! Your card is "souper" :) To answer your question regading my Mr.Incredible box card, I filled the gable boxes with candy and I made a template for the card because I made it so large that I couldn't use the SVG. I like making them bigger so they make more of a statement and then I can make an oversized envelope with my punch board. Here are the dimensions:
    Start with 6.5" x 12" cardstock
    score on 12" side at 2.75", 5.5", 8.25" and 11"
score on 6.25" side at 2.75".
You'll have to cut down on the scoreline to make the flaps and cut off half a piece on the 11" inch scoreline to create a tab.
I hope that helps. I find it easy and fast to do with the even measurements. Have a great day :)
