Halloween: Black.

Don't forget, ScrapbookerPhD is hosting our FIRST challenge this month. Want to join the party? Click HERE.

You may have noticed lately that I have been posting cards left and right. Why? That's because I have a personal goal of hitting the 365 daily Card Challenge Blog. So far, I haven't been able to make a whole week. Maybe this week, I will.

Their challenge this week: have someone pick a color for you.

The color chosen by my husband was black.

That wasn't enough of a challenge for me - I needed more inspiration. I found that many of the challenge blogs were hosting a Halloween or Holiday theme. And, I was off....

I created one more "Z" card just to remind everyone that you can watch this tutorial video on the YouTube channel cardcrazy09's. The tutorial is easy to follow, and you can make your card in step-by-step with the video.

Challenge inspiration:

365 Card Challenges: Black.

I made the card purple to tie in with the paper. I chose this fun patterned paper. The base is black, with fun pops of Halloween colors. Creating the fence was easy, but I needed a color to pop off of the black. I chose grey, but I chalked it in black to be sure I was keeping with the color. I added both of the images with at least one layout of black. The pumpkin has a black layer, and the shadow of the grey scalloped circle is black. On the inside I used black as the top layer of the scalloped oblong frame. Did I use enough black?
