Punk Chick!

Punk Chick!

I had a blast making this two-fold card. The great thing about making this card, is that you only need one sheet of patterned 12 x 12 paper to cover all of the folds and the inside of the card. I usually buy two or more patterned 12 x 12 paper. Sometimes, I have just one sheet left over. Use it to create a two-fold card! Watch this tutorial to learn how to make the card.

Can you say juxtaposition? I took sweet pink "princess paper" and then punked it up! I created the lightening bolt with the Cricut Cartridge, Punk Princess. The black and silver pop on the light pink patterned paper. The bold color combination on the die cut the inside sentiment - to me - feels like our princess has grown up and is rebelling. On the inside, I have a simple sentiment that ties the theme together, Punk Chick.

My inspiration came from the following challenges:
  • Craftin Divas: Sentiment (Punk Chick).
